What you'll learn
- 01The Edit — rhythm, juxtaposition and story logic: why a cut works, taught shot by shot.
- 02Premiere Pro in Production — multitrack timelines, proxies, versioning, and the discipline of an edit that survives revisions.
- 03Motion Graphics — type, logos and explainer animation in After Effects: design that moves with intent.
- 04Sound & Music — dialogue cleanup, sound effects and mix fundamentals. Half of every picture is the audio.
- 05Colour & Delivery — grades, export specs and platform requirements, from YouTube to broadcast masters.
- 06Production Term — cut real episodes, promos and shorts on the studio's own material, to deadline.
How the year runs
Months 1–3 — Foundations. The edit as storytelling. You cut with existing footage before you touch effects, and you learn why one cut works and another doesn't.
Months 4–9 — Specialisation. Premiere Pro at production pace, After Effects motion graphics, sound in Audition, colour in Resolve. Weekly briefs and reviews. You build speed and taste at the same time.
Months 10–12 — Studio Floor. The studio's episodes, promos and shorts, on the studio's schedule. Revisions from real clients. This is your reel.

Mentors are the studio's editors and motion designers, in production during your year.
Careers after the course
Graduates are prepared for: Video Editor, Motion Graphics Artist, YouTube Editor, Post-Production Assistant. Many editors also freelance for creators and small businesses from day one — the studio's own YouTube channels are a working example of the demand.

Studying in Haldwani
Karan Tower, Gas Godam Road, central Haldwani — about 10 minutes from Kathgodam station. Daily commuters come from Kathgodam, Lalkuan, Bhimtal and Rudrapur; students from the hills usually take a PG nearby. We keep a list.

Frequently asked questions
I already edit on CapCut / my phone. Is this too basic?
The first month will feel familiar; the rest won't. The gap between phone editing and a broadcast-standard edit with sound, colour and delivery specs is what this course closes.
Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve — which should I learn?
Both are taught. Premiere for the edit and the industry's default handoff; Resolve for colour. Knowing both makes you hireable by more people.
Can I freelance after this?
Yes, and many do. The Production Term includes client revisions, which is the part of freelancing nobody teaches.
Is a laptop enough?
On campus you use studio machines. For home, a laptop with a dedicated GPU and 16 GB RAM handles Premiere and After Effects; we'll advise before you buy anything.
How is this different from a short editing course?
Short courses teach the software. This teaches the job: story, sound, colour, delivery, revisions, deadlines — on real material.
Is there a part-time option?
No. Full-time, on campus.
